Hugo Spritz

My Love for a Hugo Spritz began in Germany. It’s a sparkling cocktail that originated in northern Italy and became incredibly popular throughout Europe. It’s lighter and more refreshing than an Aperol Spritz, with a subtle elderflower flavor that feels perfect for summer.

Ingredients

• 4 oz Prosecco
• 1 oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
• 1 oz club soda or sparkling water
• Fresh mint leaves
• 1–2 lime slices
• Ice

Instructions

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
  2. Add fresh mint leaves and lime slices.
  3. Pour in the elderflower liqueur.
