Fall is easily one of my favorite seasons to dress for. There is something about bringing back the layers, boots, sweaters and richer colors that makes getting dressed feel fun again. And this year, I love that fall fashion feels polished without being overly complicated.
For Fall 2026, fashion is moving away from the idea that everything has to be ultra-minimal. We are still seeing beautiful classic pieces, but they are being mixed with richer textures, stronger color and accessories that add a little personality.
Think a classic wool coat over a knit dress, straight-leg jeans with a blazer and structured bag, or a simple sweater finished with riding boots and a scarf.

That is exactly the direction I took when updating my Fall Fashion Favorites storefront. I wanted pieces that feel current but are still wearable enough to reach for year after year.
The Fall Colors I’m Loving This Year
My fall wardrobe will always start with neutrals, and chocolate brown is one of the prettiest ways to update black for fall. I love it mixed with camel, cream and denim because everything works together without looking too matched.
Chocolate brown also looks beautiful with olive, burgundy and other rich fall colors, making it an easy neutral to build around.
Camel and warm tan are another big part of my fall edit. A camel wool coat or blazer instantly makes jeans and a basic tee look more polished, but it also works beautifully over dresses and skirts.
Moss and olive green are especially good this season. They feel earthy and sophisticated and look beautiful beside camel, chocolate, cream and denim.

Then there are the richer accent colors. Burgundy, plum and deep red are perfect for fall and are easy to incorporate without building an entire outfit around them. A sweater, scarf, bag or shoe is enough to add a little color to a mostly neutral wardrobe.
Charcoal and deep navy are also great alternatives to black. They soften an outfit and pair especially well with brown and camel.
A Camel Coat You Can Wear With Everything
If I were choosing one piece to anchor a fall wardrobe, it would be a great coat.

I added a long camel wool-blend coat to my fall storefront because it works with almost everything else in the collection. Throw it over jeans and a striped tee during the day, wear it over a sweater dress for dinner, or layer it with a scarf and tall boots when the weather turns colder.
A classic coat is one of those pieces that can make even the simplest outfit feel much more pulled together.
Chocolate Brown Is the Neutral to Add
One of my favorite combinations in the storefront is the camel coat with a chocolate-brown structured handbag.

Brown accessories immediately warm up denim, cream trousers, black, camel and even navy. If you are not ready for an entire brown outfit, a handbag or pair of boots is one of the easiest ways to work the color into your closet.
I especially love a structured bag because it can make even a very simple outfit, like straight-leg jeans, a tee and jacket, feel finished.
The Brown Tie-Waist Dress
I also included a brown Arch&Cloz tie-waist dress in my fall edit, and this is exactly the type of piece I love because most of the outfit is already done for you.

Wear it early in the season with flats or slingbacks, then add the camel coat, plaid scarf and brown riding boots once it gets colder. You can change the entire look simply by switching the shoes and outer layer.
It is also a good example of how I like to approach trends. Rather than buying something that only works one way, I would much rather find a piece that fits into several different outfits.
Straight-Leg Jeans Are Still a Fall Staple
Denim is always part of my fall wardrobe, and straight-leg jeans remain one of the easiest silhouettes to style.
I included straight-leg denim in my storefront because it works with practically every fall shoe, including riding boots, ankle boots, sneakers and flats, and gives you an easy base for sweaters, blazers and jackets.
One of the easiest outfits in the entire collection is simply: Straight-leg jeans + striped tee + camel blazer + brown bag + neutral flat or boot.

It is easy, comfortable and still looks pulled together.
Wide-Leg Trousers and Midi Skirts
Jeans are not the only bottom I am reaching for this fall. I love cream wide-leg trousers with camel and brown because they keep a fall outfit from becoming too dark. Add a camel sweater and chocolate bag and you have an easy tonal outfit that looks polished without trying too hard.

Midi skirts are another great option for fall. I have both neutral and brown skirt options in the storefront that can be worn now with a simple top and later with sweaters and boots.

Sweaters, Knits and Easy Layers
A fall storefront would not be complete without sweaters. Crewneck cashmere, lightweight layering knits, cardigans and striped tops are some of the most useful pieces you can own because you can start wearing them before it is truly cold.

I especially like mixing something classic with something casual. A beautiful camel sweater with jeans and sneakers works just as well as a striped tee under a blazer with trousers.
The goal is not to create a completely new wardrobe every fall. It is to add a few pieces that make what you already own feel new again.
Tall Brown Riding Boots Are Back in the Rotation
If you already own a pair of classic brown riding boots, bring them back out. I added a pair to my storefront because they work so well with the dresses, skirts and coats in this collection.

For me, the best riding boot is not overly trendy. A clean shape in a rich brown leather look can work for years and instantly makes a fall outfit feel more polished.
Scarves and Pashminas Are Easy Fall Layers
Scarves are another fall piece I am excited about again.

A neutral plaid scarf looks beautiful with the camel coat, brown dress and riding boots. It is one of the easiest ways to add pattern without overwhelming an outfit.
For a more polished look, I also love a solid camel, taupe or cream pashmina. It gives you the warmth of a scarf but can also be wrapped around your shoulders over a dress for dinner or an event.
The Fall Must-Haves I Would Start With
You certainly do not need every trend. If I were refreshing my wardrobe this fall, I would concentrate on a few pieces that can create multiple outfits:
- Camel or neutral wool coat
- Chocolate-brown structured bag
- Straight-leg jeans
- Neutral sweater
- Tall brown riding boots
- Versatile fall dress
- Blazer or cropped jacket
- Plaid scarf or solid pashmina
- Cream or camel trousers
- One richer accent color such as burgundy, plum, moss or deep red
Those pieces give you enough variety to dress casually during the day and still pull together something nicer without buying an entirely separate wardrobe.
Building a Fall Wardrobe That Feels Like You
Trends are fun, but I never think you need to wear something simply because it is popular. For me, the best fall wardrobe is a mix of classic pieces I know I will actually wear with just enough of the current season mixed in to make everything feel fresh.
This year’s camel, chocolate brown, cream, olive and richer accent colors make that particularly easy because they layer so beautifully together. I have collected the coats, sweaters, dresses, denim, trousers, boots, bags, scarves and other pieces I am loving in one place so you can mix and match them to create your own fall wardrobe.
